“Kiteboarding has transformed my way of life, perhaps it will change yours?”

Like many Canadians, I grew up surrounded by snow and lakes. My passion for wind sports started at the age of 14 when I rigged a homemade bar onto a cheap blue tarp to pull me along on frozen lakes using skis or ice skates! My kiteboarding journey started in 2006, when I could finally afford real equipment and lessons. Since then, not a day goes by without thinking about the sport. I am still amazed how many new things the sport can teach me every day and the endless freedom the power of the wind can provide. My passion for teaching began at the age of 15 when I became a snowboard instructor, which later led me to study sport science in University. 18 years later I’m still looking for ways to improve my teaching abilities and train other instructors to do the same.

You’ll be amazed at what a difference quality lessons can make in your kiteboarding journey, so don’t hesitate, start today!

“Kiteboarding is not just a sport; it’s also a lifestyle that can potentially change your life for good, allowing you to follow your dreams.”

Inspired by natural elements - that’s how my adventure has been started. Even though I grew up in a small village in the north of Italy surrounded by mountains, since I was a child I felt a strong connection with the wind and the ocean, believing that those elements have the power to refill and regenerate body and soul. When I got to know about kiteboarding in early 2000 I knew that it was exactly what could give me all the feelings I was looking for.

After a while I became an IKO instructor with the purpose of sharing my passion and experience with as many people as possible. I have been teaching kiteboarding for more than 10 years now and I still feel that l have a lot to learn yet... but I have a lot to give too.

“Kitesurfing has changed my life for the better in so many ways”

Hey guys, growing up by the WA coast it was only a matter of time that kiteboarding took hold of me. Surprisingly, I came to the sport relatively late in the game. After a twenty-year period making fine furniture in the hills east of Perth, I returned to live by the coast and was eager to make up for lost time away of the sea. I have been heavily into skateboarding but the hard landings were starting to take their toll, so kiteboarding was ticking all the boxes. I enrolled in a few classes and I haven’t missed a windy day since!

Kitesurfing has changed my life for the better in so many ways. I’ve met so many wonderful people, experienced amazing places and felt a real sense of achievement and connection with nature. Spending time on the beach with people experiencing these things for themselves is why I like instructing so much, so I can help share the stoke that is kitesurfing!

“Go exploring and always come home with a story to tell”

Since the first week of my kiting experience in 2013 i knew this was the lifestyle for me. I left home in the UK 6 years ago to travel the world and find my passion and three years ago i found it!

When i first tried kiteboarding in Sri Lanka i completely fell in love with it, i was inspired by my teachers so much that it changed my life from that day. Kiteboarding is the main focus in my life and i have been lucky enough to let my kites take me to so many wonderful places around the world. The journey has been incredible and i have had so many wonderful experiences sharing this amazing sport with others.

Nature, adventure and traveling is everything for me, when I'm not kiting, I like to practice outdoor yoga, take a morning SUP session or go exploring and always come home with a story to tell.

"Life is better in board shorts"

I am a certified IKO level 2 kiteboarding instructor and have been teaching since 2013. I knew that i wanted to leave my home country during my teens to travel the world so I used the army as my way out and joined the British army at the age of 16. The army planted a lot of discipline and independence in my life but did not offer me the freedom I wanted. So after 6 years service I decided to leave the military and travel the world teaching the sport I love.

The past few years my girlfriend and I have travelled many different countries teaching in a wide range of conditions spreading the love for our sport. I get the highest levels of satisfaction from seeing my students progress and passing on the stoke.

“If you don't find me kitesurfing you will find me getting my vitamin sea in other ways”

JUDD

Age: 33
Nationality: Australian
Kiteboarder since 2008

Hi, my name is Judd I am a qualified IKO instructor who has always felt a connection with the ocean. I grew up on the beach and have worked on or around the water for most of my life. It is this passion for the ocean that has taken me to so many amazing places and experiences, from the secluded islands of the Great Barrier Reef to working with the Whale Sharks, Manta Rays and Humpback Whales of the Ningaloo Reef in W.A, I’ve taken every opportunity possible to body surf, surf, kayak, SUP, dive and free dive as much as I could.

Unfortunately all of these activities are not very conducive to strong onshore winds, which you may have noticed we get our fair share of here in W.A!. Kite Surfing for me started out as just something to keep me on the water on the many windy days that are no good for other water activities; however, this amazing sport soon became my number one priority finding myself sitting waiting wishing for the wind like only a kite surfer understands, so I could chase down the previously inaccessible waves of the outer reef, kiting alongside Whales and Dolphins or just enjoying the freestyle world of a beautiful flat water bay.

I have had many years of experience and enjoyment guiding people out of their comfort zone in many water based sports and activities and look forward to sharing an amazing sport with you!
