Kiteboarding Lesson three :: 3hrs Print E-mail

After an assessment of your kite flying skills by your kitesurf instructor and a quick refresh from your previous lesson (if needed) it will be time for some water start theory with the kiteboard. This third kiteboarding lesson is focused on getting you up and riding with the board and turning you into an independent kitesurfer.

Your kitesurf instructor will train you in staying on your feet, dealing with excess power/speed, riding upwind, holding a good edge on the kiteboard, controlling direction, slowing down and changing direction or transitions. We also cover priority rules (rules of the road) and selecting the right kitesurfing gear for you. Our experienced kitesurf instructors who ride and know all the different brands/models will point you in the right direction for when its time to buy kites.
