International Kiteboarding Organisation. IKO promotes and develops safe kiteboarding worldwide in relationship with the industry and national organisations. IKO trains kitesurfing instructors providing a high level of teaching, with standards that are recognised and applied worldwide.

FREE Instructional Beginners DVD with every course booked
Combining kitesurfing lessons One, Two and Three at a total of 8hrs will bring you to a level of complete independence allowing you to practice safely on your own. The kitesurfing course can be completed in three days or over a time better suited to your lifestyle.
Picking our brains about kite gear and what to buy, models boards etc harnesses.. Is all included, we can also help you buy 2nd hand gear and get you set-up super cheap.
Instructional Beginner DVD
FREE Instructional Beginner DVD. A very helpful DVD that will be useful not only before and during your lessons but also in continuation of your practice on your own, it covers Location and conditions, Equipment and Terminology overviewing all different kite styles and how they can make a difference to your progression, Kite Set up, Launching and Landing the kite using both 4 or 5 lines. Very handy DVD to have at entry level to this sport. We like to get this DVD out to you so you can have a better understanding before your 1st lesson, On completion of the course you will be certified with the IKO Kiteboarding member card.
IKO Kiteboarding Member Card
The IKO member card is accepted as a certification of your acquired level to enable you to rent kitesurfing equipment around the world, providing equipment information, school and instructor id numbers, level attained and status. The card also provides access to the IKO kiteboarding global insurance as well as great discounts at participating kite shops and online. Its a really good idea to have 3rd party insurance around $60 a year
